CA Intermediate Registration is open round the year for the students. They can register for the CA Intermediate course online through the ICAI official website. There are 2 routes through which a student can register for CA Intermediate, i.e., Foundation route and Direct-entry route. Moreover, students also have to keep in mind the last date for the CA Inter registration. CA Intermediate registration last date for May 2022 was 1st Nov 2021, whereas, for Nov 2022 session, it is 1st March 2022. 

The CA Intermediate registration process starts with logging in to the self-service portal or get yourself registered. Afterward, they need to enter the required details, upload documents, and make the payment. The CA Intermediate registration fee is Rs. 18000 for both the groups and Rs. 13000 for single groups. After completing the registration process, students should start their preparation as it is not an easy exam to crack. You need to follow a proper study plan to get a desired CA Intermediate result

Eligibility Criteria for CA Intermediate

Follow the 2 stages for the CA Intermediate course enrolment. As mentioned above, there are 2 ways to register themselves for the course. In the CA Foundation route, students who have given the foundation exams can register. On the other hand, in the direct entry route, graduate or post-graduate students who didn’t give the foundation exams can directly register for the course. 

Direct Entry

Candidates to get direct placement in the CA intermediate level must follow the below criteria:

Commerce post-graduate/ graduate (passed with a least 55percent marks in total) or Post-Graduate/graduate (passed with over 60percent marks in total) for graduation.

OR

Candidates cleared the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India’s Intermediate level examination. You are eligible for direct entry into the CA inter level.

CA Intermediate Registration Process

It is advised to visit the official website: http://www.icai.org or simply visit the Self-Service Portal (SSP) and start following the CA Intermediate registration process. Check how to fill CA Intermediate registration form.

Step 1 To register through the Foundation route. To register through the Direct Entry route.
Step 2 Select the “Student” option and enter your registration number and date of birth to validate. Check the instructions properly and enter the asked information.
Step 3 Proceed further and fill in all the required details; upload documents. Click on the “generate OTP” button. Your login credentials will be sent on your phone or email id.
Step 4 Pay the CA Intermediate 2022 registration fees. Login through the credentials, fill the form, upload the documents and pay the fees.
Step 5 Download the registration receipt for future reference. Take the printout of the CA Inter registration fees receipt.

Please Note: For Direct entry, students must pay for the Cost of Prospectus an additional Rs. 200 (the US $ 20).

Students from the Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, and the North-East States.

Concession in CA inter registration fees for the students from the UT regions is eligible. They have to pay only Rs. 4500/- for both groups, and Rs. 3250/- for a single group as registered before 31st March 2022.

Students need to upload Domicile Certificate, Proof of Identity as Aadhaar Card / Passport / Voter ID self-attested during registration in addition.

Documents needed for CA Intermediate Registration

Before registering for the CA inter course, students must have the scanned copies of original documents as follows:

  • Attested copy of the Mark Sheet of Class 12th, or its equal exams issued by a recognized Board. Attach a digital copy of the CA Foundation Main Exam.
  • Submit copies of Post-Graduation/ Graduation Mark Sheet (attested). Along with Mark Sheet of Intermediate level examination of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India for the CA Direct Entry.
  • One colored photo.
  • Nationality Proof Attested copy (if the student is a foreigner).
  • SC/ST, OBC, disabled special category certificate attested copies.

CA Intermediate Registration Last Date
